Data collected
- Orders: name, email address and billing country, entered on Stripe’s checkout page. Card details are processed by Stripe and are not shared with this shop.
- Email: messages sent to hello@timelessjapanprints.com.
- Site use: pages viewed, referring site, country and device type, collected by Vercel Web Analytics without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
- Server logs, including IP addresses, kept briefly by the hosting provider for operation and security.
Purposes and legal basis
- Processing orders, delivering downloads and sending order emails: performance of a contract.
- Keeping order records: legal obligation (tax and accounting).
- Measuring site use and preventing abuse: legitimate interests.
Personal data is not sold or used for marketing.
Processors
- Stripe: payments.
- Resend: order emails.
- Vercel: hosting, file delivery and visit statistics.
- Apple (iCloud Mail): email.
Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States.
Cookies and browser storage
- One strictly necessary cookie per order, set at checkout or after confirming your email, which gives your browser access to that order’s downloads. It expires after 365 days.
- Browser storage for the cart, region and units. It stays on your device.
No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
Retention
- Order records: for the period required by tax and accounting law.
- Email: for as long as needed to handle the request.
- Download access: 365 days from purchase.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, or object to its processing, by writing to hello@timelessjapanprints.com. Residents of the EU and UK can also complain to their local data protection authority.
